Hey, Ash here. Em and I have been trying to get this thing going for a while, so I'm writing the "hello" post- as she says there is no creative spark in her (that's what happens when you pull an all nighter). Alright, this blog is lovingly named "the saltwater room". It comes from one of our favorite songs, but the name also gives us quite a lovely mental image of a place we feel extremely comfortable. We're California girls and pure ocean lovers. So, what's this thing all about? Well we don't even know that yet. We really just wanted a place to have some sort of creative outlet. Em usually has quite the poet living inside of her. Expect deep things from her, or just fantastic posts. I assure you: They are always worth the read! As for me, I'm not quite sure what will turn up... I like the simple things, but I can get pretty worked up about different issues. So I guess we'll see! Bear with me if I don't make sense- it always makes sense in my head... Next on the list, the twitters at the bottom: Ems is the top, mine is the bottom. They usually don't make sense, either. But, that's kind of what twitter's all about. Also, both myself and Emily are trying to get in the habit of bringing our cameras everywhere. We absolutely love photography and were soul-mate-photography-class-partners at school. So expect lots of pictures! They will always be our pictures, unless otherwise noted.
